New Mamiya DM40 Sports 40 Mpix

Mamiya has announced the price and availability of its new DM40 medium format camera and a digital back of the same name. Priced at $21,990 for the camera and 80mm f/2.8 lens D series lens, and $19,990 for the digital back, they will start shipping from this month onwards. Both incorporate 40MP, 44 x 33 mm sensors and feature true 16 bit/channel RAW capture, ISO range of 80-800 and capture images at 0.8 seconds per frame. The DM40 digital back can be used with compatible medium or large format cameras via an adapter.
Mamiya New DM40 Large-Sensor DSLR

Featuring a resolution of 40 megapixels with a peak capture rate of .8 seconds per frame and a sustained capture rate of 60 frames per minute, the Mamiya DM40 is the industry’s fastest large-sensor DSLR.

The lenses - available in focal lengths of 55mm, 80mm, and 110mm - deliver an effective maximum flash sync speed of up to 1/1600th of a second. For more conventional situations, photographers can choose any one of 15 other world-class Mamiya optics, from 28mm to 300mm APO, designed for use with the cameras’ focal plane shutter system.

Also newly announced, the Mamiya DM40 Digital Back will be available for those customers who wish to obtain the latest in high-speed and resolution digital capture for their existing Mamiya or large format camera. Supported cameras include: Mamiya 645AFD series, 645DF, Mamiya RZ series (via optional adapter), Mamiya RB series (via optional adapter), and 4x5 view cameras (via optional adapter). Cookie is Now Fresh

LG GS290 Fresh is the third Cookie, after KP500 Cookie and the 3G based LG GS500 Cookie plus. This fresh one is lack of 3G just the same as first Cookie. The specification is similar to the first one (KP500), but the camera is downgraded to 2 Mpix resolution and also there is a 3.5 mm standart jack.

The rest of the features remain intact - 3-inch resistive touchscreen, Bluetooth, FM radio and microSD card slot. The LG GS290 Cookie Fresh will be available in 10 different colors all over Europe and Asia later this month.

LG's First WinMo 7 Smartphone : LG Panther

Panther is a codename for LG's first windows 7 based smartphone. LG Panther will equipped 1 GHz or higher processor ( WinMo 7 at least run on 1 GHz clock speed processor) and possibly WVGA screen display. The other stuff are 5 Mpix, LED flash, microUSB, and standart 3.5 mm jack.

It still confusing, does the Panther is the same as the leak LG Apollo. I dun't know.. The Apollo is rumored to sport an AMOLED display plus 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording so it might go for the Chassis 1 instead.

Whether Apollo and Panther turn out to be the same or completely different devices, it's sure LG are working hard on their Windows Phone 7 product line. As the rumor goes LG Panther is scheduled to launch in September, which is quite early given the Microsoft statement for a holiday season release. We'll see...

Lapan: Badai Matahari Terjadi Antara 2012-2015

Opera 10.5 For Windows is Here

A quick note for Opera fans (and we ain't talkin' The Marriage of Figaro here). Looks like the self-styled "world's fastest" browser (with about 2% of the market share, last time we checked) has a new version! 10.5 for Windows features a swank new look, a new JavaScript engine, private browsing, Opera Unite (which is sure to re-invent the web any moment now) and much more. Want to take a look for yourself? Go to Opera Official Website!

Slider Blackberry Leaks Out

You can consider our minds completely and utterly blown tonight, as we've just stumbled upon these photos of what appears to be a new BlackBerry device... a vertical slider. The source (BlackBerry Leaks) doesn't seem to be able to confirm the legitimacy of the photos, but we're mostly convinced that this is some variation of a RIM device. While BB Leaks speculates on the possibility of this being the Storm 3, Kevin Michaluk over at CrackBerry suggests this might not be a device headed to market, rather an early version which has been scrapped, similar to that Magnum handset that floated onto the internet recently (though Kevin suggests that our friends in Canada may very well have plans for something in this form factor). What we can say with assurance, however, is that this device coupled with those new BIS 3.0 Gmail integration upgrades, that forthcoming RIM WebKit browser, and a rumored new OS would help push things into the territory of that dream smartphone we pleaded for back in 2008. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Nokia C5 Goes Official

The Nokia Cseries just went official - as expected the first member of the line is the Nokia C5. The new handset strives for simplicity, sticking to Symbian S60 3rd edition and is all about keeping connected with friends and family through all modern means of communication.

The design of the Nokia C5 is an epitome of simplicity - bar form factor and standard phone keypad with big comfy-looking keys. The screen is 2.2" with QVGA resolution. The Nokia C5 is aimed at the people who still prefer a regular phone, so no touching.

The phone keeps a 12.3mm slim waistline and weighs only 89 grams, even though there's plenty of steel used for its body. The 1050 mAh battery of the Nokia C5 is good for 26 days of standby and 12 hours of talk time.

Nokia C5 Nokia C5 Nokia C5 Nokia C5 Nokia C5
Nokia C5, the first of the Nokia Cseries

The Nokia Cseries emphasizes on ease of communication, so besides the hefty talk time, there's a video call camera. Nokia Messaging handles the IM side of things with Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger support.

The phonebook of the Nokia C5 has also been updated and now shows Facebook updates too.

Other noteworthy features of the Nokia C5 include a 3.2MP autofocus camera, 3.5 mm audio jack and stereo speakers, a 2GB microSD card in the box (cards up to 16GB are supported) and stereo FM radio.

There's an integrated GPS receiver with A-GPS support and Ovi Maps 3.0 with free walk and drive navigation. The only noticeable omission is Wi-Fi connectivity. Check out the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic - it has similar specs but trades GPS for Wi-Fi. It's plastic all over though, there's no metal onboard.

The Nokia C5 will be available in the second quarter in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA. The expected price before taxes and subsidies is 135 euro. Expect more Cseries phones too, but Nokia is mum on any details on upcoming devices.

Also today Nokia officially explained their new naming convention - one letter and one digit. The letter signifies the type of phone - business phone, flagship, entertainment-centric phone, etc. - and the digit is a rough indication the amount of features/price class of the phone. This should make it very easy for consumers to guess what they can expect from a phone, just from its model number.

Averatec's just outed its super thin, super light, 10-inch netbook, the N1200. Available in silver or black, it's a good looking little package which weighs in at just 2.2 pounds. It boasts an Atom N450 CPU 1.16 GHz, a 160GB - 250 GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM which is expandable up to 2GB, plus a webcam and 802.11n Wi-Fi. You can get this bad little dude with either XP or Windows 7 Starter. The battery life is apparently about 3 hours, though you can upgrade to a better, 6 hour battery. The N1200 starts at $329-$379.

Three models will be offered and feature various configurations based on either the Windows XP Home or Windows 7 Starter operating systems. Extended battery models will also be available to increase battery performance from three to six hours.

To achieve this design, the engineering team at TriGem incorporated materials and components typically found on more expensive ultra-slim notebooks. Cutting-edge technologies such as ultra-slim LED LCDs along with super-slim 7mm hard drives are some of the key components which enable the N1200 Series netbook to be less than one-inch thick. Magnesium-alloy casing and the use of lithium polymer battery cells help to keep the weight down to 2.2 pounds, making it the lightest in its class.

LG LU2300 Vs Samsung S100s : Korean Android Battle

Eternal archrivals-to-the-death Samsung and LG have a tendency to match one another tit for tat in virtually every consumer electronic category, but for whatever reason, LG's been far less interested in going for broke with Android over the past year -- though a preoccupation with Windows Phone 7 Series is a solid guess at this point. Things may be changing, though, now that we've got news out of Telecoms Korea that they're prepping a more brutal assault than the weakling GW620 could ever provide in the form of a so-called LU2300 for the domestic market (we're assuming the actual thing will be a little more... well, "designed" than the snow-white mockup above). The site is playing up LG's announcement that the phone will bundle a bunch of popular apps in ROM (awesome?) but the real news is the impressive spec sheet, which is said to include a Nexus One-like 1GHz Snapdragon and WVGA AMOLED display paired with Android 2.1 and a 5 megapixel cam capable of 720p video. It certainly sounds like it's ready to give Samsung's M100S a run for its money, but we'll need to wait until its second quarter release to know for sure.
